Memebox Luckybox #9 Review

Memebox Luckybox #9 was my first Luckybox, which if you don't know they contain favorite items from past boxes, as well as a few new items. They are good boxes to start with if you're just getting into Memebox, and usually contain some people's holy grail products. This box was $23, and is now sold out.

Standard shipped boxes are shipped via EMS or Korea Post from Korea and then are delivered by USPS. This one arrived in 8 days to California.

I have heard so many people rave about the Recipe by Nature Spray Essence Water that when I saw the spoilers it didn't really register that it was in this box until I looked at the info card! These things are so so handy!

The Skin House Pore Control Powder Serum - (50ml full size/$28) Featured in Superbox #36 Pore Care 3

Product description: "This Pore Control Powder Serum works to immediately tighten and minimize enlarged pores for a smooth and matte skin texture. It also prevents skin's oil/moisture imbalance by maintaining it silky soft."

How to use: "Apply a small amount of the serum for full absorbance."

My thoughts: I first read the box and saw "Powder Serum" and I was like how in the world? But it's basically just a thick viscous liquid. I wouldn't say my pores are large or noticeable really, but I do like the effect when I add a pore minimizing primer under my foundation, so it will be interesting if this has a similar effect.

i belivyu Powder Wash Vitamin Face Cleanser - (70g full size/$24) Featured in Superbox #42 Birthday

Product description: "This refreshing powder-type facial cleanser works as vitamin parts burst onto your skin, with granola particles and papaine enzymes softly yet thoroughly rubbing away all skin residues and impurities. Best of macadamia and olive oil are also included and deliver protection and deep hydration to the skin."

How to use: "Take out a dime-sized amount of the powder wash, wet it and lather it well. Gently massage your face clean and rinse off."

My thoughts: I've never heard of or tried a powder cleanser, so this will be interesting! I can always use more facial cleansers to try, so this is a win.

BOCIANS Cycle Repair Whitening Spot - (15ml full size/$24) Featured in Superbox #35 Fermented Cosmetics 2

Product description: "This whitening spot cream is enriched with various fermented extracts and hyaluronic acids which hydrate deep into the skin and improve the skin elasticity. The naturally-derived, moisturizing formula also nourishes the skin, giving it a healthier glow from within."

How to use: "Apply a small amount on spots with fine lines and wrinkles."

My thoughts: This product is from the fermented box meaning if you have any allergies to fungi, you should proceed with caution when using this product. I don't think I have any allergies to that, but I'm not sure. I will be careful to spot test this on my hand when I use it.

Recipe by Nature Spray Essence Water - (140ml full size/$35) Featured in Memebox Global #1

Product description: "Spray Essence Water is enriched with celtic water and whistler glacial mineral water, the main ingredients with nourishing vitamins, amino acids, minerals, and organic acids used to enhance the skin. This essence will hydrate and nourish your skin instantly after application!"

How to use: "Spray on all over the face after cleansing the skin."

My thoughts: This is one of so many people's holy grail Memebox products, that I can't wait to see how I like it! I never would have imagined a face spray would be something I would need in my life, but I think since so many people love it, I probably will too. Definitely makes this box worth it.

awesome Aqua Whip Hug Foam Cleanser - (1g x 2ea/$0.37) Featured in Memebox Special #13 Cooling Care

Product description: "Both the Foam Cleanser and the Gel Cream are made from the Canadian glaciers extremely pure and rich in its minerals. The fine, soft, whip cream-like bubbles created from the cleanser are very gentle and effective in penetrating deep into your pores, while the Aqua Power Gel Cream delivers the ultimate oil-free, moisture surge deep into your skin, hydrating it from within instead of the outer surface."

How to use: "Lather the cleanser with your hands and massage the foam onto your face. Rinse off with warm water. Apply the cream generously over your face at the last stage of your skincare routine."

My thoughts: It's nice that we got two packets of each product, but the cleanser was sent in full size in the Cooling Care box that this was from. I don't understand why we didn't just get that instead of these cheap foil samples.

Y.E.T Don't Worry Mask Sheet in 01 Firefighter Mask - (23ml full size/$1)

Product description: "Y.E.T offers a variety of 10 different masks, each catered to specific beauty concerns such as soothing, whitening, moisturizing, pore care, wrinkle care, and oil control. Again, each mask pack is enriched with natural ingredients like aloe, green tea, lemon, cucumber, cacao, and honey to target specific beauty concerns."

How to use: "Place the mask over your face and rest for 15-20 minutes. Remove and pat in the remaining mask essence onto your skin."

My thoughts: I'm still trying to learn to love masks, so this will be nice to try. I already used the one and only mask I had, so having a soothing mask in my stash will be handy. But with masks I don't understand why we don't get more than one. Especially since this brand offers several different types. They're only worth $1, they couldn't throw in one or two more?

Overall, the Luckybox #9 had a total value of $114, which is really high, even with a $1 mask and two sample sized products. Also, this box has the Recipe by Nature Spray Essence Water, which I have heard from many is one of their Memebox holy grail products! It was a little surprising that most of the products were from fairly recent boxes, I don't even know if many people had a chance to try them and grow to love them yet. But as this is supposed to be some of the favorite box products, I can't wait to dig in to all of these, especially that essence water.
