Whimsical Plans Announcement

Hi everyone! I have kind of a special announcement for today's post, I've been keeping a bit of a secret from you all. Most of the time I haven't been making blog posts regularly, I've been working on starting my own Etsy shop, called Whimsical Plans. I've been hard at work designing and creating planner stickers. You may remember my Planner Wednesdays posts, and this is the reason why I won't be doing those any more. Because I'm making my own planner stickers! I've posted a few of my listings below and some links. I hope those of you who enjoyed my planner posts will check out Whimsical Plans!

I'm hoping to have new releases every Friday, and holiday kits will be available soon. I am currently at a stated 3-5 day turnaround time, but most orders are being shipped sooner than that. And the Whimsical Plans Instagram will have exclusive discount codes, new release announcements, and other info. You can also find the shop on Facebook

I am also including one of these exclusive sampler sheets with any order $15+! Just leave a comment in the notes, "Peacock" if you would like the top sampler, or "Vintage" for the bottom one. If you don't specify, I'll just surprise you! Valid through September 17th.

Let me know what you think in the comments!

Planner Wednesdays: Planner Pandemonium Review

Planner Pandemonium is an Etsy sticker shop I've purchased from a few times, mostly because they are one of the few shops with Supernatural themed stickers! I've actually purchased quite a few of these sheets, for myself and for gifts, but I also grabbed their Star Wars fan pack for a friend.

Planner Wednesdays: Oh Hello Stationery August 2015 Subscription Review

Oh Hello Stationery is a sticker shop that offers a monthly subscription, and you can choose between doing only one month, or doing three months. I managed to grab a three month subscription for July, August, and September, so I will review those as they get here. But today I have August's! They go up for sale on the first of the month, usually at 9 AM EST, which is a bit of a bummer for us west coast people. That's so early!

Planner Wednesdays: Oh Hello Stationery July Subscription Review

Oh Hello Stationery is another sticker shop that offers a monthly subscription, and you can choose between doing only one month, or doing three months. I managed to grab a three month subscription for July, August, and September, so I will review those as they get here. But today I have July's! Unfortunately, August's already sold out, and the shop is closed until July 16th. They go up for sale on the first of the month, usually at 9 AM EST, which is a bit of a bummer for us west coast people. That's so early!

Planner Wednesdays: Alex Studio June and July Subscription Review

Alex Studio is a shop I've reviewed before here, but they also have a monthly subscription that you purchase each month if you're interested. And the August subscription just went up for sale today! You can grab one of those here, and you have the choice between matte or glossy stickers. I usually go for glossy, which is $2 more.

Planner Wednesdays: Scribble Prints June Mystery Box Review

Scribble Prints just recently introduced a monthly mystery box of planner stickers, and I just had to get the June Mystery Box to try. It's actually put up for sale on their printables shop, and even though the June box is completely sold out, you can try for the July box on June 20th at noon eastern time. Scribble Prints is one of my favorite planner sticker shops, so it's no surprise that I loved this month's mystery box!

Planner Wednesdays: Juice Box Paper Review

Juice Box Paper is another Etsy planner sticker shop that offers all kinds of whimsical stickers to decorate your planner. I like that they are all colorful, unique, and the sheets are the same size no matter the sticker.

Planner Wednesdays: PBnJ Paperie Review

PBnJ Paperie is this week's Planner Wednesdays post! I ordered from this shop what feels like forever ago, but they have some unique stickers in rainbow colors, and especially a lot of little icon stickers that can be used for just about anything.

Planner Wednesdays: Sweet Kawaii Design

Sweet Kawaii Design's specialty is definitely cutesy Kawaii stickers, but she also carries other more plain functional stickers. I purchased a combination of both of these from the shop and they are this week's Planner Wednesday review!

Planner Wednesdays: Hello Ashleyann Prints Review

Hello Ashleyann Prints is the featured planner sticker shop this week, and they carry quite a few items including monthly color kits, inserts, and printables. They were one of the few shops that had strips with social media icons on them that were very small, so I mainly wanted to try those out when I ordered!

Planner Wednesdays: Alex Studio Review

Alex Studio is this week's featured planner sticker shop, I ordered just a few sticker sheets a while back, and I love some of the other designs she has in her shop! Including Lush looking bath bombs! Who doesn't need those in sticker form for bubble baths? And she also has a mystery subscription for June that I am eyeing!

How I Plan Using My Erin Condren Planner

My Erin Condren planner has become one of my most treasured possessions. Which seems silly, because I was all-in on digital calendars, and making to do lists with apps and not on paper. But there's just something about paper for planning that is still so customizable and flexible. And now that I've gone down the Etsy planner sticker rabbit hole, there's plenty of room to decorate as well. I wanted to do a kind of how I plan post, because I know I do things a little differently from a lot of those "Plan With Me" videos on YouTube. And maybe it will give you ideas and inspiration for how you want to decorate and plan with your paper planner!

Planner Wednesdays: Station Stickers Review

Station Stickers was originally named LifePlannerWashiTape, so that's why my stickers in this review say that. They recently changed their name to Station Stickers, so you can check them out there if you're interested in trying any of their planner stickers. I ordered just a few sheets from them, but I'm looking forward to trying more in the future!

Planner Wednesdays: MareBear Crafts Review

MareBear Crafts is another planner sticker shop that carries some great monthly planner kits. They also offer their stickers in matte or glossy formats, and for an Erin Condren planner or a Plum Paper planner. There's a lot of variety, and I love that the monthly kits are up months in advance! I like to plan ahead!

Planner Wednesdays: One Orange Snowflake Review

I seem to keep reviewing shops that are currently closed, and One Orange Snowflake is no different. But it's another of my favorite shops, so I would highly recommend checking them out once they reopen. They have some of my favorite monthly kits, which are great for decorating in the Erin Condren monthly colors.

Planner Wednesdays: Scribble Prints Co. Review

Scribble Prints Co. has quickly become one of my favorite Etsy planner sticker shops, which I should have known considering how bright and colorful their stickers are! Many shops offer stickers on matte or glossy paper, but Scribble Prints is only on glossy paper. It makes the colors more vibrant and adds a nice sheen that makes them look really visually appealing. The shop is currently on vacation, but will return April 26th.

Planner Wednesdays: PaperPlusCloth Review

I was on a hunt for some solid colored washi tape rolls, preferably in colors I was using as part of my color coding in my Erin Condren planner. PaperPlusCloth had what I was looking for, at the least expensive price, so I snapped up two brightly colored sets. At the time, I was having trouble with the removability of the Erin Condren stickers that are included with the planner, and wanted something to write my blog review posts on that could be rearranged if needed. I ended up not using these as I had imagined, but they are great staples to have in any washi tape collection.

Planner Wednesdays: ChloeDesign20 Review

I wasn't sure what to do with this review, because I had planned it for today, but when I went to look up the shop, it was gone. I have no idea what happened, if it just closed permanently, or moved to a new name or site, but the Etsy shop where I purchased these stickers is gone. Unfortunately, that means if you wished to purchase these items, they are no longer available. The shop featured for today's Planner Wednesdays is ChloeDesign20, and I only purchased two sticker sheets from them. Let's get to the review portion!

Planner Wednesdays: PlannerKate1 Review

PlannerKate1 is another planner focused Etsy shop, which specializes in washi tape stickers, dashboards, bookmarks, and other planner inserts. I decided to order the washi sticker grab bag, which comes with 30 sheets of washi stickers, which can be cut to fit the Erin Condren planner or the Plum Paper Planner. Some of the other shop items look interesting as well, like the clip in bookmarks. You can also get washi tape samples, which come on a spool.

Planner Wednesdays: The Washi Shop Review

Welcome to a new blog post series I am calling Planner Wednesdays! I have been buying up stickers and washi tape from various Etsy shops, and I thought it would be fun to do some reviews for them. They are being used in my Erin Condren planner, which I've been decorating more and more. I decorate it a little differently than most do, because I don't plan an entire week at a time, I am planning months in advance. I have things in there already weeks ahead of time, so sometimes there is less room to do a full decorating weekly spread.

The first shop I will be reviewing is The Washi Shop, which is where I went to first to get a few of my first rolls of washi tape. I had seen many stickers for certain things like cameras and meal planning themes, but I figured washi tape might be a cheaper option considering I could cut off just a bit of the tape to signify certain tasks. Like a camera tape to imply I needed to take photos, or forks and knives to show meals. I found that The Washi Shop had what I was looking for, and quite a bit more washi tape as well!
