I had someone suggest to me that they would love to see a "best of 2014" type post regarding my favorite indie products of the year. I thought it was such a great idea, I wanted to see what I could come up with. I didn't decide on a number of products I wanted the list to be, I just tried to pick at least one product from every category (eyes, lips, cheeks, hair, bath and body, perfume, etc). This includes everything that I absolutely love, would recommend to anyone who is even remotely interested in indies, and could not stop using throughout this year. Many of these were recent favorites, but I can see them being favorites all through 2015 as well. Obviously, there are a ton of indie products, and I have not tried them all. You should see my list of products I have that I haven't reviewed yet. So, this list is only things I have used on a regular basis, and absolutely loved. Shall we get started?

Indie Weekends: Haunt Beguiling Bath and Body Summer 2014 Collection Review
I recently heard about an indie bath and body company called Haunt Beguiling, and I had heard that their products sell out within hours and sometimes minutes whenever there's a new collection. However, for the summer overstock collection sale, Erin, the owner, decided to make the products to order. It meant that they were available for sale for a few days, and there wasn't a chance things would sell out within those few days. So I took advantage of that, since it would be my first time ordering, and I picked out a few products and scents to try and review!
Haunt only offers seasonal collections as far as I can tell, and some kinds of products are not always offered. For instance she has offered lotions before, but they were not available for the summer collection. And there are no sample sizes, only full size, so I couldn't get every scent offered, only a few I had heard great things about and looked delicious smelling! And because there are no sample sizes, there were also no free samples included with my order, but I didn't expect them. With how nicely the products were packaged and what great quality they are, I didn't even miss getting free samples.
Orders for this sale were stated to ship in 14 business days, I placed my order on the first day of the collection going on sale, and it shipped via USPS Priority 2-day 15 (business) days later, and arrived from New York to California in 2 days.

Monthly Favorites October 2014
Wow October flew by didn't it!? Normally, I would have an Indie Weekends post today, but since I had a whole week of indie reviews, I figured I ought to get my favorites post up for today. And also since if you missed it, I had two Halloween specific indie collections not show up before Halloween...yeah a little irked about that.
But, it's all in the past, and I'm here with my monthly favorites for October! A good variety this month, at least I think so, some mainstream items, some indies, some Korean skincare...what more could a girl want!?

September Favorites
I'm really excited about these products for my September favorites...like really excited. When life's got me down, I try to think about how happy these little things can make me. Sometimes the little things can be a saving grace, and I'm definitely feeling that way today. Just looking at this photo makes me happy, and when it's one of those days where everything seems to go wrong, I know I try to find solace in some of my favorite things. Whether it be a tiny vial of perfume, a glittery eyeshadow, or just a yummy scented product, this is my little reminder to try to find joy and happiness in the little things.
Now to be less depressing, how is September already over!? I swear it just started! I received lots of happy packages this month, and discovered some new gems. And some of my favorites were rediscovered as I already had them in my stash. I also included a bonus favorite!
