Even though Memebox is not a traditional subscription box, the Global editions are the closest it gets. They release monthly, and even though you still have to purchase them separately, they do offer them in 3 box sets if you want get the best deal. They usually contain the hottest products in Korean beauty and skincare. Global #15 was originally $23 (+$6.99 shipping) and is now sold out.
These Global boxes ship every month on the 24th, so this is the box for September, I received it in 17 days. It was shipped via Registered Mail and delivered by USPS, from Korea to California. It seems like my Registered Mail boxes are taking longer and longer. I can't even imagine how long it will be closer to the holidays.
This is the first Global edition Memebox I've been able to purchase, so it was interesting to see how they compare to the themed editions.
Mise En Scene Perfect Repair Treatment Pack - (180ml full size/$16)

My thoughts: I cannot wait to try this, I've been trying to take care of my hair and with winter coming I know my hair will get drier. And I especially love that I can just use this after shampooing, because then it doesn't add too much time to my routine.
Mise En Scene Perfect Serum - (70ml full size/$9)

My thoughts: I used to use a hair oil all the time on my hair ends after showering, but it wasn't in a convenient easy-to-dispense package. This will make a great companion to the hair treatment pack.
Ariul Stress Relieving Purefull Cleansing Foam - (75ml full size/$8)

My thoughts: To me, this is probably the least exciting item in the box, it's another cleanser. I probably get a cleanser in almost every Memebox I order. There doesn't seem to be anything special about it either, so this will probably just get thrown in my stash.
Tony Moly BCDation All Master SPF30 PA++ - (20g sample size/$9.60)

My thoughts: I'm really excited about this product, I don't really have a BB cream in my stash, well not one like this, and I tried it on the back of my hand and it was a great color for my skin. It also felt very moisturizing, and I bet using this with my Beauty Blender, over the Miguhara BP Cream that I love, will yield a heavier coverage that I am currently using. Perfect for winter!
Miss Age Snail Anti-Wrinkle Serum - (50ml full size/$53) *Currently on sale in the Memeshop for $29*

My thoughts: I really like it when there is obviously a very high quality product in the box, and this is it, even though the price is definitely overstated by Memebox. And as always, I still don't have many anti-aging products, so this is going to be great for that, and I like that it's a snail mucus serum.
Tosowoong Makeon Lip Manicure 30 Seconds in 01 Cynical Plum - (5.5g full size/$12)

My thoughts: I actually like these quick drying lip manicure type products I've received in Memebox, and I'm glad I got a good color for this one, even though it's really similar to the other shade I've received. You will definitely need a mirror to apply this, but once it's dry it's set and won't come off when drinking, and will stay put fairly well while eating. If you condition and moisturize your lips before applying, it won't be too drying.
Swatch of Tosowoong Makeon Lip Manicure 30 Seconds in 01 Cynical Plum. It dries fairly quickly and becomes budge proof.
Shara Shara I Wanna Pencil Gel Liner in BK01 Deep Black - (1 each full size/$8)

My thoughts: I'm bummed to get black for this, but when I eventually open this I hope it actually is like a gel eyeliner, and stays put.
Overall, Global #15 had a total value of $115.60, which is pretty good. I like the two hair products that are meant to be used together, I'm glad we got both instead of just one. But the cleanser isn't that exciting, and neither is the eyeliner. Otherwise, I'm excited to try the Tony Moly product as well as the anti wrinkle serum. The only thing about the value is the serum can be purchased right now on Memebox for much cheaper than the value is stated as. If you account for that, the value of the box is really $91.60.

This was my first Global box too and I wasn't overly wowed by it. I ended up only keeping half the stuff and putting the rest to swap. I am glad to get the snail serum though; I hear great things about it but so far all my snail stuff is piling up in the corner until I can come to terms with putting it on my face. I keep picturing the yucky slime trail an African snail once left on our car and took an hour to remove. *gag*
