Indie Subscription: Glamour Doll Eyes July 2015 OTM Review

I saw this month's Glamour Doll Eyes OTM spoilers ahead of time, but I could not wait to receive mine. We received a pressed shadow and a nail polish this month, in addition to the normal full size shadow we always get.

AboutGlamour Doll Eyes is an indie cosmetics company specializing in eyeshadow, blush, lip glazes, gel eyeliner, and will be soon venturing into pressed shadows. Vanessa, the owner, is based in Nevada, and has been doing a monthly subscription for over three years.

Shipping - OTM's always ship between the 10th and the 14th, but mine usually ships on the 10th. It arrived 3 days later via USPS from Nevada to California.

Product Size - The shadow and pressed shadow are both full size, and the nail polish is a mini.

Free SamplesThere are usually free bonus samples included with this subscription, but it's not guaranteed every month.

All eyeshadow swatches are done over Too Faced Shadow Insurance primer.

The info card this month is gorgeous! I love the leather and lace theme, and the look the designer gave to the sexy lady on the card, my friend Rachel!

TMI (Try More Indie)Queen Bee Apothecary - 15% off $10 or more. The code is private this month, so I cannot share it. But I've reviewed their products before here, and I really like their shaving cream and I have heard good things about the shampoo and conditioner.

Paroxysm - "A deep gray with a pink to copper duochrome and a silver sparkle."

I love how prominent the pink duochrome is in this shadow, I love these kinds of shades for all over lid looks.

Limerence - "A blackened purple with a strong rose gold shift."

I don't know how in the world this is supposed to be classified as a blackened purple, because it looks like brown to me. I actually opened the clamshell and thought it looked just like the Food Coma pressed shadow we received in November. Swatched, it's similar, but definitely more metallic looking. I love her pressed shadows, so I'll be prying this out of the clamshell to put in my Glamour Doll Eyes pressed shadow palette.

Leesha's Lacquer Good Weather For Some Leather - "Jelly glitter with a black holo and red glitters."

I am really excited to try this nail polish, I have seen this brand around. Unfortunately, I couldn't get mine open to swatch it! So I will have to recruit some muscle to help me, but it does look really pretty in the bottle.

Overall, I loved everything this month I can never say no to more neutrals. And even though I haven't painted my nails in months, I am really looking forward to trying the polish we received. That is if I can get it open! If I had to pick a favorite, it would probably be Limerence, just because I love how soft the pressed shadows are, and how convenient they are.

Customer Service - I did not have to contact customer service regarding any problems with my subscription.

AvailabilityThe main eyeshadow(s) each month go up for sale separately on the 10th at noon PST if you're interested in buying it, but the OTM subscription itself is on a waitlist.

Overall Satisfaction - I really loved everything this month, but especially Limerence the pressed shadow.
