Blog Update June 24th Secret Project!?

Usually I've been doing these blog updates at the beginning of the month, and I've already done one for June, but I have some pressing updates I didn't want to wait until the end of the month for. You may have noticed the reviews have ramped down in frequency recently, and posts in general. It's all for mainly one big reason, but has two effects. So are you ready?

Secret Project!? -
I am working on a big secret project that I should be able to announce in the coming months, but for now what I'm willing to say is it's nothing to do with another company or anyone else. I am working on this project alone, so I will have less free time. And it's being funded by me alone, so I will have less money for as many boxes and products to review. I am extremely excited about this project, and I hope you all will be when I'm finally ready to officially announce it. I think if you are into the same kinds of things/hobbies I am, you will be pretty excited too!

Time - 
This project is going to be one of those things where I dedicate all my free time to it, and will probably be working night and day on it to get it done in time. I absolutely have no intention of leaving this blog alone for the amount of time it will take, but there will probably only be at maximum one post a day, sometimes less. I will still be posting spoilers, those are honestly the easiest for me to do and take the least amount of time. But there won't be as much time for the big reviews, like palettes, those will be sparser for the time being.

Money - 
I pay for almost everything I review myself, and my secret project will require some money to get it going. This means that some of my regular subscription boxes will have to get cut, I'm still deciding exactly which ones at the moment, but I'll talk more below about which ones have to go. It also means I won't have as much money to purchase products and palettes for review, but I have a pretty large stockpile of things I still want to review to hold you over! Those will hopefully go out sporadically throughout the next few months. I'm also participating in a Summer Secret Santa on Makeuptalk.com so some of my time/money needs to go to that as well.

Subscription Box Update - 
Definitely no more Tyler Florence Fancy Box (that was the most expensive one for me). Many of you were worried I was canceling Ipsy, and I wanted to let you know I have NOT cancelled it for the time being, but that could change. I will definitely let you know when the last one of those will be, if that happens. I skipped my July Julep Maven box, this wasn't so much about the money, but more about none of the colors and products appealing to me this month. I looked at the collection and could name the dupes I had off the top of my head, and their lotion doesn't appeal to me. I will still post the Secret Store post I do, and I will try to get all the product links for you, so if you skipped as well you can still shop the Secret Store!

New Subscriptions - 
I did subscribe/purchase a few things that will be coming in a few months, they are new boxes I haven't reviewed before. I purchased the Memebox Global #15, which doesn't ship until late September so it will be a while for that. However, I do want to get more into Memebox, so I plan on ordering some other boxes as soon as money allows. The other one I'm very excited about, is I subscribed to the Fortune Cookie Soap box for Fall! I can't wait for either of these, and hopefully once my project is out there in the world, I can subscribe to a few others I've been eyeing.
