Julep Everybody Wins Purchases and Clutch

My Julep Everybody Wins sale purchases finally arrived! I got the Oscar and Rita package with the clutch, and a few other polishes to bring my total to the $25 mark for the free clutch package. They still have these clutches available, they are a $50 value, free when you make a $25+ purchase, just use code EVERYBODY at checkout. They can also be used in conjunction with the End of Season sale going on right now!

All of Julep purchases, not monthly Maven boxes, are shipped DHL Global Mail, and this arrived in 3 days, which was extraordinarily fast for DHL. I will mention though, that from time of purchase, it took 6 days from Washington to California. I ordered early on Friday, and it wasn't shipped until Monday.

The bag itself. Seems pretty large, could be used as a great makeup bag too.

The inside leopard print.

I tried fitting all the makeup I normally take with me to B's house when I go over there to see if it would all fit. It does indeed fit, you can't tell but there are 2 Naked palettes in there so I'd say it fits a lot! If you'd like to see what I have in my makeup bag right now, click here.

Left to right: JenniferAudreyJuliaWendyAngelicaRita, and Oscar.

I try to only make Julep purchases when colors are on sale, so all of these were discounted, and I tried to get my cart as close to $25 as I could. I also always look at swatches online before I get any colors. Sometimes you can find some colors that look really ugly in Julep's photos, but actually makes for a very flattering color on.

Everybody Wins Clutch/iPad Case - ($50 value with two polishes)

Oscar - ($14) I've been eyeing this color for a while, because I went through and added all the colors from the Gem Collection that were available separately to my wish list. This is one of them, and I'm glad it was included in this deal.

Rita - ($14) I had a hard time deciding between this color and the Holly package, mostly because I have so many purple colors already. I finally decided on this because I'd probably be more likely to use this color than Holly.

Angelica - ($14) A mint green jelly glaze.

Wendy - ($14) This is a watermelon jelly glaze, and I don't have any jelly glazes in my collection yet, so I grabbed this and Angelica while they were heavily discounted.

Julia - ($14) This is another that doesn't look that exciting with Julep's photos, but swatches of this are absolutely stunning! I had to get it!

Audrey - ($14) This one is a similar shade to Jennifer, but shimmery.

Jennifer($14) This was one I thought I wouldn't like, but once I looked at swatches, it's a great "bare nails" look.

My purchase cost me about $28 total, but had a value of $120! I don't really think Julep polishes are worth the original non-Maven price of $14 each, so I try to only make purchases from the secret store, or from the Savvy Deals portion of their site. I don't think I would have made this purchase if the clutch was just a clutch. But the fact that it can double as an iPad case made me take the plunge! Hah, it doesn't actually fit an iPad. Maybe a mini, or some other tablet. But no iPad 2's it is too tight, and won't zip. Oh well, I'll probably be using this as a makeup bag and maybe special occasion clutch. Or for when ever I finally go to Vegas.
