Pacifica Perfume and Lotion Haul

This was a very strange thing for me to go order, let me give you a little background as to why this was so out of the ordinary for me to purchase. I don't like or wear perfume because it usually gives me a headache. I don't use lotion because it either gives me a headache or is too greasy. So the fact that I ordered both of these things online, where I couldn't smell them first was a little scary/daunting/adventurous/weird for me. But I figured, everyone raves about Pacifica, I never get it in my Ipsy bags (because I didn't have perfume or lotion selected in my profile, I changed that so hopefully I will!), their scents all sound like smells I'd like (fruity, floral, tropical scents).

I do love when I have the opportunity to smell a little girly, so I thought the solid perfumes, lotion wipes, and body lotion would help with that. And not be so strongly scented that they'd give me a headache.

If you spent over $40 they had the option of free gift wrapping, which I thought sounded so nice, I had mine wrapped! It's so pretty!

Shhh! Don't tell but I actually took everything out of the box to look at it, then stuffed it all back in the box to take this photo! I couldn't wait to see all my delicious smelling goodies! Since I've never owned a single Pacifica product, or even tried one, I wanted to get as many different scents as I could but also try a few different kinds of products. I think I succeeded!

These lotion wipes were new, and I thought they would be nice to try for me, because I was never a big fan of body lotion. I don't know how well they'd work for this, but I figure if I go hiking this summer, these will be great to freshen up after.

Tahitian Gardenia Lotion Wipes - I don't want to use these until I actually am ready to open one, so I'm saving them for the summer I think.

Malibu Lemon Blossom Lotion Wipes

Free Samples:

Sandalwood Solid Perfume Sample - This was supposed to be a California Star Jasmine Solid Perfume Sample, but they goofed. I emailed them and they said they were out of the solid perfume sample, so they substitute with another fragrance. I'm a little irked because if I'd known, I would have just ordered the California Star Jasmine Solid Perfume. Otherwise this smells like musky woodsy and I don't like it.

Coconut Kiss Creamy Lip Butter Shade: Sunset - The has a very light tint, but it's a little sparkly.

Guava Berry Color Quench Lip Tint - The tint on this is a little darker, but is nice and portable.

Waikiki Pikake Solid Perfume - Smells like a tropical getaway to Hawaii, love it.

French Lilac Solid Perfume - I had picked out the Jasmine solid perfume as my free sample because I absolutely love the smell of jasmine. I would say it's my all time favorite floral scent. But this smells just like I expected the Jasmine perfume to smell! I don't know what the California Star Jasmine will be like, but I'm glad I got this during it's special fragrance sale (they do a different scent sale like every month or something). I'll probably have to get this in a candle, and a roll on, and a lotion...

Brazilian Mango Grapefruit Solid Perfume - The citrus cuts through the fruity scent to give this a light fragrance.

Island Vanilla Body Butter Mini - Vanilla is a hard scent to mess up, and this one smells lovely. I've been wearing it today to match with my French Lilac perfume.

Tuscan Blood Orange Body Butter Mini - Yum, I think this may be a new favorite.

Indian Coconut Nectar Body Butter Mini - I love coconut smells, it's always guaranteed to not be too strong, and this is no different.

Hawaiian Ruby Guava Body Butter Mini - I've always loved guava so this was a no-brainer to get.

If you've never tried Pacifica, like me before I bought all this wonderful smelling stuff, I highly recommend it. Who knew I would like perfume and lotion, but now I find myself grabbing a Pacifica product everyday. I'm hoping the next time I visit Portland (which actually could be this summer, maybe, plans are being talked about) I can stop by and see if they have the pop-up store still and get some more products!
