Birchbox October 2014 Review

Here is my seriously late October Birchbox review! I have no idea why this arrived so late, but it did, and I didn't get a Beauty Blender, surprise surprise. I've found that if I get a late box, I seem to have no chance of getting any of the good ones.

Shipping - I received this month's Birchbox in 7 days via Newgistics and delivered by USPS, from Tennessee to California.

Here's the info card for my box this month, I wasn't very excited from the first look.

Dr. Lipp Original Nipple Balm For Lips - ($3) I've sampled this before, and it's basically a glorified Vasoline. So it works, but I don't think it's worth the price. I will be swapping this.

Harvey Prince Petaly Noir - ($1) Since I've gotten into indie perfume, mainstream perfume holds no interest for me. So this will probably be swapped as well, even though I still do like the Harvey Prince Hello perfume, that is pretty much the only mainstream perfume I still like and use.

Model Co Power Lash Black Mascara - ($10) You should seriously see my stash of black mascara it's a bit ridiculous. I am currently loving the Urban Decay Perversion Mascara, so I don't know what I will do when that runs out, as I would feel silly buying a full size when I have so many other mascaras to get through. But maybe I'll keep this around for after that one runs out.

Suki Exfoliate Foaming Cleanser - ($1.50) I'm running low on my other facial scrubs, so I might throw this in the shower next. This will be especially good for my face coming up when it gets colder as my skin gets very dry in the winter. Flakes galore! Hopefully not with this scrub.

Toni & Guy Classic Shine Gloss Serum - ($15) I didn't realize this was full sized as it looks like a travel size, but I won't use it, I mostly just use a detangler on my hair and sometimes hair oil and dry shampoo, so this is getting swapped.

Overall, this month's Birchbox had a total value of $30.50. I'm feeling very meh about what I got. I think it's probably time I took a break from Birchbox, so this might be the last box I review for a while. I have too many samples taking over the house, and I just seem to be getting more than I can use. Even though the points system is great at Birchbox, I need a break!

What did you think of this month's Birchbox? Let me know in the comments!

Birchbox is only $10 a month and they send you 5-6 (usually sample size) products. If you really like the sample, they offer the full size version on their shop for you to purchase.
