Chella and NYX Swap and Julep Aretha

I just did my first swap and I wanted to share what I received! My free Aretha Julep polish also arrived, that I got with my free polish code for taking 3 boxes in a row. After they removed skips, I have heard March was the last month they were honoring this, which happened to be my third box, so that worked out!

So I swapped two Julep polishes, and the SKYN Mud Mask from February's Ipsy Glam Bag, for the eyeliner and eyeshadow. I got rid of some of my duplicate polishes, and it was looking like I was never going to try the mask, and I got a few March Ipsy items I had wanted to try. Here's what I thought:

NYX Love in Rio Palette in Bikini Bottom - ($6) This palette is nice for travel, in some nice brown neutrals, but I had problems with pigmentation, namely there isn't much. I may try combining it with something else, maybe a cream eyeshadow to get it to do much. I had to layer the colors about 3 times before getting it to the intensity of my Naked palettes.

Chella Liquid Eyeliner in Indigo Blue - ($26) This was in many people's March Ipsy bags, and I was a little jealous, so this was the main item I was trying to get from a swap. I haven't tried it, just swatched, but it's very easy to apply, a beautiful indigo blue color, and I think it will look great with my blue eyes.

Julep Aretha - ($14) I didn't grab this when the secret shop opened, because I was waiting to get my free polish code to get it. My code finally arrived a few weeks ago, so I jumped on this. I plan to layer this over Bess for my next mani to make it look like an aquamarine which is what this polish is based off.

I paid about $3 to ship what I was swapping, and got $46 worth of stuff! I was tempted to make a Chella order to get that eyeliner, but swapping worked out so much better! And getting Aretha for free is always handy.
