Ipsy Glam Bag April 2014 Review

My April Ipsy Glam Bag finally arrived, and I am not thrilled with this month. There were so many great products I would have rather had and I didn't get a single one I was really excited about trying. Maybe next month will be better? I paired down my profile to only things I really want so maybe it will be.

Cailyn Tinted Lip Balm in Apple Pink - ($19) I was happy at first that I got the Apple Pink color, but then I saw swatches of this and it's just not me. Will be trading this.

City Color White Gold Shadow & Highlight Mousse - ($4) I was sort of excited for this because I want a eyeshadow highlight color, but looking at the swatches this doesn't look like what I want either. Swapping this as well.

Sexy Hair Root Pump Volumizing Spray Mousse - ($6) Hair products...don't want. Swapping this too.

dr. brandt microdermabrasion - ($9.75) I do like dr. brandt products and I do like exfoliators. I will keep this and try it sometime this week.

Urban Decay 24/7 Velvet Glide-On Eye Pencil Travel Size - ($15) Urban Decay eyeliner is always good. Hearing it's a little flaky and meant for smudging for a smoky eye look. Ehh this will get used eventually. I would have preferred a more exciting color other than black, but whatever.

Overall, I think this was my least favorite bag I've received. I plan on trading 3/5 items this month, and there were many other products I wanted but didn't get this month. I paid $10.75 for this bag, and received $53.75 worth of items. Kind of a bust though since I don't want any of these really.
