Memebox Special #54 Miracle Masks Review

Here's another Memebox I'm not over the moon about, the Special #54 Miracle Masks box. I love sheet masks, so I was hoping this box would have plenty of them in it for me to try. But this box curation is not quite what I had in mind when I originally bought the box.

I had this box combined with another in a bundle to be sent via Express shipping via UPS, and it arrived 4 days after it shipped from Korea to California because of the weekend.

Purederm Cucumber Eye 24 Pads - (24 pads full size/$12)

Product description: "Soft pre-moistened pads enriched with real cucumber, Vitamin E and various soothing natural ingredients. It's designed to resemble a slice of cucumber that you'd place on top of eyelids and relax lying down. These moisturizing eye pads work to relieve dry, tired eyes and also help minimize puffiness around the eyes."

How to use: "Place pads over eyes, cheeks or other face areas. Lie back and relax for 5-15 minutes with the pads on. Store in the refrigerator for optimal results."

My thoughts: I don't really see how this is a mask, but ok sure, if I did want to use these on my eyelids, it might be relaxing. I bet if I kept them in the fridge and then if I had really puffy eyes one morning, they might help with that.

Ladykin Vanpir Dark Repairing Water Mask - (50ml full size/$46)

Product description: "An anti-wrinkle, skin firming and repairing sleeping pack made from 'dragon's blood resin' from the Amazon, adenosine and centella asiatica. It'll strengthen the skin's moisture barrier and lift up aging skin by delivering rich hydration and nourishment deep into the skin overnight. Abundant vitamins, green tea extracts, and polyphenol also helps balance out and brighten up uneven complexion."

How to use: "Spread the water mask evenly over clean face and pat it in for better absorbance. Rinse off the next morning."

My thoughts: I like most of the Ladykin products I've received before, and this is a high quality item. I'll definitely be keeping this to use, and is honestly the only item from this box I am really interested in.

Ddung Vitamin Wash-Off Pack - (120ml full size/$12)

Product description: "A vitamin-rich, wash-off type facial pack enriched with various moisturizing and nourishing agents such as macadamia seed oil, and betaine. It works to replenish, smoothen, and strengthen dry, dulled skin for a healthier, more radiant complexion."

How to use: "Spread the pack evenly all over cleansed face. Rest for 3-5 minutes and rinse off with lukewarm water. Finish by gently patting the face with cold water."

My thoughts: We've received a similar product from the same brand in another box before, although I believe it was a cleanser of some kind. This will probably be given to someone else, I just don't see myself using it.

Mise En Scene Perfect Repair Treatment Pack - (180ml full size/$16)

Product description: "7 kinds of oil - argan, camellia, olive, jojoba, coconut, apricot, and marula - blended through Mise En Scene's special 'Crystal Cubic technology' to enhance deliverance and lasting power of the nutrients deep into hair. This is a nourishing wash-off treatment pack for dry, weakened hair damaged from perms, dyes, etc."

How to use: "Apply the treatment to hair after shampooing, especially the dry, damaged hair ends. Rinse off in 1-2 minutes."

My thoughts: This is a complete duplicate product, this was in another box I actually bought, Global #15 I believe. I haven't even cracked into the first tube of this, let alone the second. So I will probably be swapping this second one, or both, I haven't quite decided.

To Be Nang Snail Nutrition Hydro Gel Mask - (51g full size/$5)

Product description: "A hydro-gel type facial mask designed to fit and adhere tightly onto face, delivering instant moisture surge to dry, roughened skin with its rich snail mucus formula. Repair and strengthen for lasting protective, moisture barrier on the skin."

How to use: "Spread the sheet mask evenly over clean face. Remove after 15-20 minutes. Pat in the remaining mask essence for optimal result."

My thoughts: Ok, a sheet mask. And a snail mucus sheet mask, that's great, I like both of these things.

To Be Nang Gold 24K Snail Nutrition Hydro Gel Mask - (51g full size/$6)

Product description: "Another hydro-gel facial mask from To Be Nang, but this time, enriched with pure gold extracts for soothing, renewing, and rejuvenating sensitive, damaged skin."

How to use: "Spread the sheet mask evenly over clean face. Remove after 15-20 minutes. Pat in the remaining mask essence for optimal result."

My thoughts: Another snail mucus facial mask, this time with "gold extracts"...I would like to point out that very obviously the package states it is 35g, not 51g like the info card states. And this is from the same brand, and almost identical to the first sheet mask. Not exciting to me.

To Be Nang Snail Anti-Wrinkle Face & Neck Mask - (61g full size/$3)

Product description: "An anti-wrinkle care mask for both the face and the neck, the most vulnerable part of body to sagging skin and fine wrinkles. The snail mucus extracts effectively treat wrinkles and help repair damaged or stimulated skin as well."

How to use: "Spread the sheet mask evenly over clean face and neck. Remove after 15-20 minutes. Pat in remaining mask essence for optimal result."

My thoughts: Now we have another snail mucus sheet mask, from the same brand as the other two, and the package says it is 50g, while the info card states it is 61g. This mask also has 3 pieces to it, and has a lower value than the other masks? I am very confused by this logic, but obviously something is wrong here. I would have liked masks with different ingredients, or at least from different brands. Having 3 very similar masks, all from the same brand seems really lazy to me.

Overall, the Special #54 Miracle Masks box had a total value of $100, but I would have liked to see more variety with the sheet masks, and no repeat item in this box. I think the only item from this box I really like is the Ladykin mask, so that will go in my stash to be used eventually.
