Beauteque February 2015 BB Bag Review

February's Beauteque monthly BB Bag is here! I am still waiting on my January bag, so hopefully that arrives soon and I can review that bag as well. We received 8 products this month, so let's get started!

Beauteque kindly sent me this month's bag for review purposes.

Here's the bag this month, it's the same style we've received in past months. I wish it was more festive for Valentine's Day, maybe a pink or red bag, but a black cosmetic bag is a great staple to have.

Here's the info card this month, they changed up the style a little, and it's a little busy. I think I prefer the list type layout with photos of each product instead of the group photo.

Hair Spa Towel - ($9.99)

I really do need a separate hair towel, because my hair is so long and it takes so long to air dry on it's own. I've never had one of these special ones with the button that securely attaches to keep your hair up and out of your way while you get ready. But it's definitely going to need a wash before it gets used, it has a strong smell to it from the manufacturing process.

A'Pieu Nonoco Teatree Emulsion - ($12.99)

An emulsion is a product that's usually used after an essence/serum/ampoule but before a cream in the skincare routine, and I don't actually think I've owned one before. And tea tree is a great ingredient to have in your skincare products if you have any breakouts. I'll be adding this immediately to my routine, and I think this is one of the items in this bag I'm most excited for.

Tonymoly Petit Art Perfume Mist in Fresh Green - ($12)

I received this perfume mist in the scent "Fresh Green" and it's definitely a fresh green type scent. The scent is not bad, but I probably wouldn't use this on myself. I'd be more likely to use this as a linen spray or something like that since the scent is quite suited for that purpose.

Set of 2 Sheet Masks (random) - ($5)

I received the Nextbeau Elasticity/Collagen Wrinkle Mask as well as the Daylight & Hue Arbutus Essence Mask. I looked up the value for each of these, and came up with about $3 as the value for both combined. I actually haven't tried masks from either of these brands before, and I was pleasantly surprised by the one from Nextbeau. It was very refreshing, cooling, and just a quality mask. I had to look up what arbutin was, and it's extracted from the bearberry plant and is used as a skin-lightening ingredient. The Daylight & Hue mask would therefore be a whitening mask.

It's Skin Mango White Lip and Eye Remover - ($5)

I was so excited to get more makeup remover wipes in this bag, and these smell wonderful! They removed my makeup easily, and without much effort. They are quite wet as well, and have almost an oily texture to them. But it's a good oily texture, because it removes all makeup and leaves my skin feeling moisturized. And they smell fruity, like mangosteen!

E Choice Peptide Cream - ($14.99)

Each month, Beauteque offers a few products that you get a choice on the scent/color/type, and this was one of this month's choice products. Most creams from Korea come in a jar, so I really love that this one comes in a tube. Jar creams just feel so unhygienic even if I meticulously wash my hands before and after using. A tube product eliminates that for me, and it's small enough to be great for travel as well.

Skinfood Black Bean Eye Brow Pencil in Black Brown - ($11)

This brow pencil has a tiny oval shape for the tip, and the product itself is fairly hard in texture, which is actually a good thing. It means it's easy to draw small hairs when filling in your brows, and not end up smashing the tip into your brows. It also twists up, so no need to sharpen it constantly. I think this will be great for me, because my brows are pretty thick, so I usually only need a little filling in to get them to look perfect. We had a choice for this product as well, and my only critique is that the choices we had were altogether dark colors, so there was really no good option for anyone with medium brown or lighter blonde brows.

Etude House Collagen Eye Patch - ($3.99)

I don't get dark circles under my eyes, but they do get puffy occasionally. I really love eye patches to make them feel less puffy and this one will be a treat to use. These are also great for travel, if you're on a long flight, or just plain tired, these will make your under-eyes feel much better!

Overall, this month's Beauteque BB Bag had a total value of $75, and I love all the products this month! If I could have my way, I'd just want makeup remover wipes and sheet masks every month, so this was a great bag for me. I love the variety as well, we got a hair product, a makeup product, a perfume, sheet masks, makeup remover wipes, an emulsion, and a cream. I think for anyone looking to get more into skincare in general, or even Korean skincare, the Beauteque monthly BB Bag is a great place to start. Most of the brands this month are big name brands, so you'll get a chance to experience Korean skincare brands and discover what you like and how to use these kinds of products.
