April 2015 Favorites

I'm finally doing my favorites post in the month it's for! I never got around to doing last month's video, but I'm hoping I can get up a combined March/April video this week. April...ah, one of my favorite months. Not only because it's my birthday month, but also because there's still a bit of rain, it's not too hot, it's not too cold, at least here in California. And my favorites this month felt so appropriate for spring.

Black Violet Phyto Mist -

I completely finished using my Phyto detangling mist from the first Black Violet subscription box, and discovered about halfway through the bottle that I loved it. Which I should have known, considering the original discontinued formula made it into my favorites too. I already ordered more, as the sample I received is in my empties this month.

Aromaleigh April Ephemera -

I thought I loved last month's Aromaleigh Ephemera subscription, but I absolutely adored this month's. So much so, that I wore all of the products on my birthday! The highlighter is just divine, and I'll probably be wearing all of these products all through spring.

Innocent+Twisted Alchemy April -

I couldn't pick just one indie subscription favorite this month, and Innocent+Twisted Alchemy was awesome too. It's rare that I love all of the main products and all of the extras, but this month hit it out of the park! Just proves that if you send me pinks and purples, I'll love it!

Blackbird Cosmetics Pressed Shadows - 

I love these new pressed shadows from Blackbird Cosmetics, and I wish I could just splurge and get them all, put them into a palette, and have an amazing matte shadow palette. Mattes are notoriously difficult to press, but she figured out a way, and they are just as pigmented as the loose shadows, but so much more convenient.

Scribble Prints Co. -

If you've missed it, I've been reviewing Etsy planner sticker shops every Wednesday, and my absolute favorite shop so far has been Scribble Prints Co. I especially love the To Do, To Buy, To Go stickers you can see in the photo above. They are the most colorful, and versatile of any shop.

Hello Waffle Smells Like Ashes -

We received a nude lip product in this month's Hello Waffle Visage subscription, and I can't get enough of this shade! I never thought I'd be able to wear a nude lip product until now, I just love the light pinky nude shade it gives.

Holika Holika Juicy Mask Mango -

I only used a few sheet masks this month, but this one is my new favorite brand. It can be hard to find mask sheets that fit your face shape, because they are made to be a generic circle usually, and I never find one that fits well. This one fit almost perfectly to my face, and they smell really good. They're pretty inexpensive too, so I can't wait to get more of these.

Alchemic Muse Dreamcatcher -

You may remember Haus of Gloi's Honeysuckle Lemon Curd pumpkin butter being in my favorites before, but I think I've found a good dupe, which I think I like even better. Dreamcatcher from Alchemic Muse is an awesome lemon and honeysuckle scent, I can't wait to get more products in this scent. And it's just perfect for spring.

Shiro Cosmetics Nic Cage Dyeing Eggs on a Sunny Green Spring Morning -

Shiro Cosmetics makes a lot of lip glosses, most of which are fairly dark colors. But this one is the color of the month for April, and I just love how it just gives a slight sheen and glitter to my lips. It's a great shade for a quick lip gloss on the go.
